Pastor Desmond KERR

Pastor Kerr has been a devoted member of Praise Sanctuary Church of the Firstborn for the past 35 years. During his tenure, he has served the Ministry in various capacities. Under the leadership of the late Bishop Ludlow Miller. Pastor Kerr’s faithfulness, humility, and dedication to service earned him the admiration and respect of the people.

Having attained knowledge of relevant church and people management practices through experiences as well as personal studies, his professional development, communication, and training skills have strengthened his ability to effectively serve as the Pastor at Praise Sanctuary Church of the Firstborn (Apostolic) Inc. Pastor Kerr is looking forward to the years ahead with much fervor as God continues to shine His face upon the church. His love for God is reflected in all that he does. He is a praying man of God who consistently intercedes on behalf of the church.

Pastor Kerr is very motivated by the love and support received from the congregation over the years, which have also played a pivotal role in his development. He is a great listener and a joyful giver to individuals as well as the Ministry. He is committed to growth and continues to preach the message of love, holiness, unity, and the importance of stewardship.

Pastor Kerr counts it a joy and honour to serve God’s people, both within the church and in the wider community and is sincerely grateful for the opportunity. He understands the call to ministry, and he lives in the fear of God. As such, he is cognizant of the fact that he cannot do anything or find success in ministry unless it is sanctioned by God. With this conviction, he is ready to move forward into the next chapter by the Grace of Almighty God.

Outside of church, Pastor Kerr is a licensed Mechanic and currently serves as Lead Mechanic and Supervisor with his employer of 24 years. He is married to his lovely wife, Missionary Carol Kerr, for 35 years. They are the parents of two adult children, Christine and Chris Andreu Kerr. In his spare time, Pastor Kerr enjoys playing cricket, family time, fishing and travelling.
